Jennie was a normal 5-year old girl. She thought. She tried to be. But her granny knew something about her, Jennie's mother didn't knew about or better no one else knew about. And none could understand.

It all started with a misunderstanding eons and eons ago. When there was single world. Single world of spirits and commoners. When spirits used to be friends with the the common men and women. They all lived their lives in harmony. That was the place where no one cried or died. It was like a cycle. One would get a life as folk. There the common men and women were considered as 'folks'. His deeds decided his spirit who he would be. Even through the transformation, they remembered before the transformation which was known as the communion. The life was blooming in the spring of happiness. Spirits shared their magic of nature with folks while folks shared their wits, so that no one suffered miseries.

But they say, in evil there is always something light and in light there is always something evil. In this land, the evil, The Almighty (the powerful) was not happy. Almighty was worshipped by folks as well as spirits. But since folks and spirits being together were thriving, Almighty feared for his position. One night he used his powers and took the magic from spirits and wit from folks. Then he blessed the folks with magic while spirits with wit. It was then a major war broke out. Folks thought the spirits were to be guilty while spirits thought folks were to be blamed. That misunderstanding resulted in a war. The Almighty regretted his mistake, he was determined to undo it. He returned the wit to folks while magic to spirits. But the damaged was irreversible.

The Almighty met the Sovereign (Leader of folks) and the Great Spirit (Leader of Spirits). Sovereign and Great Spirit decided they would still live in harmony. Still live in peace. Yet, they decided to separate the worlds. The Almighty forbade. He was not ready. He understood his mistake. He now realised that spirits and folks were meant to be together. Alas! It was belated. The three of them knew that peace between folks and spirits could not be restored as earlier.

The Almighty was forced to create two worlds. He said, " Sovereign and Great Spirit, your wish has some consequences. In the new worlds, I have no idea if the people will cry or not, but they would die. It doesn't mean they do not go through communion. But they would not remember who they were before communion. But some few of both worlds known as the "mystics" would act as a bridge, a connection between both the worlds. They would be able to see spirits in materialistic world (world of folks) and folks in spiritual world (world of spirits). They will help the folks to go in materialistic world and spirits in spiritual world and only they would remember through commution after they turn fifteen as well as travel between the worlds. They would be folks in materialistic world and spirits in spiritual world."

Soon after what was known as the "Big Bang" the worlds separated. The living people forgot about the co-existence between the spirits and folks. The worlds changed so did the living. The only connection between the worlds was "Unknown Mystics" and the secret four doors which only Mystics knew, two in each world. The Almighty also didn't know the four Mystics doors. As the four Mystics doors, there were four Mystics in the two in each world. Also known as the "Four Chosen Ones."

Jennie's Granny saw a Mermaid playing with Jennie in materialistic world . She knew that among the Four Mystics, Jennie was one, her granddaughter was one of her. She could not be more excited.
