A Whole New World - 3

I was surrounded by werewolves. They were searching all around. I bravely stood still. I waited for ages but they were not ready to leave the place. After a moment, I grabbed a stick and threw it far away. BANG and the werewolves ran towards the sound. This was the moment, I walked and reached the cave. I started examining it and looking for doors all around it. Then I found a hole carved on it. I wondered curiously, then it struck my mind that it was the same shape as the stone, I found. I removed the stone from my pocket and prudently placed it in the hole. The earth trembled beneath my feet, I was very scared. A cloud of mist covered the island and visibility near zero. I started to feel panicky and breathless. I gasped hardly for breath but it was next to impossible.

After a minute, the mist cleared away, the trembling halted and all the trees were now as straight as a rod. I was feeling much relaxed now. To the shock of my life, the gate opened and gold glittered inside the cave. I was very excited and started daydreaming about being the richest person in the universe. I walked inside and greedily grabbed as much gold as possible. I was drowned by gold coins, jewellery and cutlery.

Then a voice echoed all around the cave "How dare you take the most ancient and noble work of our ancestors." I was very scared. "These are very precious and one has to spend an arm and a leg for it and you take it for free. You greedy! This island was once a trade centre and housed skillful men but now we are all alone and we decided to seclude this island from the world. You are quite brave to get past the werewolves. But don't expect me to let you take our treasures and spread our secrets to the world. GET LOST!" A hole opened beneath me and I fell. "Ahhh" I yelled and through a pipe hole I was thrown out on the beach.

Suddenly the same flash of light illuminated and I was back at my home. I was feeling drowsy. It was morning. "Where was I between yesterday evening till now?" I questioned myself. The doorknob clicked and my parents arrived. "Good morning son, sorry we couldn't tell you that we had to go out for some reason yesterday," My mother said with guilt. "It's ok mom" I replied. "Neighbour said that you had been sleeping from the time you arrived from school." Mother said. "Oh, was I?" I questioned. I stood up and to my surprise, there was a gold coin in my hand.
