A miracle to save mankind.

In Ancient Greece, there was this boy named Perseus. He lay sleeping in a beautiful field of flowers that are now extinct. He was very tired as he had been chasing the butterflies that flew to the flowers in the field.

This boy, no older than 8 was happy as any child could be. This whole field was his backyard and he could do anything he wanted in it.

But this boy was special. The reason he enjoyed nature so much was because of his heritage. His parents were not humans, but nature gods. Gods from mythology. One was a minor goddess of rivers and seas while the other was a powerful wind god.

This was the reason why he was so close to nature. The air and the water were his parents. This was also the reason why the gods chose him as the saviour of the world.

This superficial form of a small innocent child was just a facade. This child was a god, that too a very powerful one. He could change nature with a snap of his fingers.

The gods transported him to Olympus, and after briefing him on his powers and his godly heritage, he was sent to the year 2020 on a mission to save nature from a threat that could spell extinction for all life on earth, climate change and global warming. He found himself in Times Square, NY. He was shocked to see what had happened to the world, it was depressing and sad. Grey and gloomy as the stormy sky on a cold winter night, this cityscape was hideous. Tartarus was scenic compared to this.

This boy was now more determined more than ever to change the future and save the world. He used his godly powers to become one with nature as to truly save it. He sacrificed his whole godly essence in order to save the earth.

The earth once again became beautiful and full of wildlife once thought extinct. The humans lived happily. This event, no less than a miracle saved the earth and in turn, all life on it.

if we humans don’t take steps to save the earth, not even a miracle can save it. Even gods are helpless when compared to us, and that is not something to be proud of. It will take many sacrifices, but step by step, the earth can be saved.
