A Magical Ride in an Enchanted World

Into A Strange World

“Sheela” I heard mom call. “Yes” I answered. “Go to bed now, it’s almost midnight”. Gross, mom was continuously telling me to go to bed. I protested “but mom tomorrow is my holiday”. “Well, it is your holiday but not mine. Go to bed now” She said. I had no choice but to go to bed. I lay on my bed, all kinds of thoughts running through my mind. Suddenly something colourful appeared in front of me. Then I found myself on a strange kind of chair. I looked around for my bed but it was nowhere to be found. I saw 2 same vacant chairs on each of my side. Then out of nowhere 2 strange kind of people appeared and sat on the vacant chairs. One was a beautiful fairy and other was a funny looking man. He wore a green mask and a funny kind of suit with its tie out and coat in. I couldn’t help giggling at his dressing style. The fairy said “Hi! I am Melody and this is my friend The Mask Man”. The mask man grinned at me and said “You can call me Masky, by the way what is your name?” “Sheela” I answered. “Well Sheela, welcome to the Enchanted World” said Melody. “Enchanted World!” I exclaimed.” “Yes and you are going to have a lot of fun here” said Masky. Suddenly the strange chair started to vibrate, the vibration got faster and soon the chair was sliding on a slide that is found in the parks, the only difference was that this one was longer and scarier. I saw Melody and Masky sliding along my chair grinning at me. Melody said “Let the fun began.” I stared at them feeling puzzled. Masky laughed at my puzzled expression and said “Don’t worry, just relax and have fun.” He handed me two chocolates and told me to pass one to Melody and have one myself. That’s when I noticed that our chairs were connected to each other through a thin type of tray or as it seemed to me. I passed one chocolate to Melody and tasted mine. I noticed that its taste was the different from the ones that I ate at home. This one was too delicious for words. Masky asked me “Do you like it?” “Yes” I answered him. “Now keep your eyes and ears open” said Masky.

                                          The Chocolate World!

                              

       

Soon I saw a huge gate in the front. Our chairs automatically stopped on that spot of the slide. Melody told me to get down and soon we were inside the place and in front of us was a brown coloured door. Melody said “Welcome to the chocolate world. Before we start our journey let's fill our stomach with chocolates.” We passed the door and what a surprise. Everything there was made up of chocolate. All the benches, swings, walls and the water in the lakes were made up of melted chocolate! In a minute we all were feasting on different kinds of chocolates, now a disaster stuck up. We heard a loud cracking voice and then shrieks of people. Soon after that we saw a giant crowd rushing towards us and behind them everything was flooded with chocolate. “Hey, I think a chocolate cloud has bursted” cried Masky in alarm. We all ran in the other direction. Masky said “We have to get back to our chairs and leave this land before everything is flooded with chocolate.” We all rushed to the exit door and the crowd came after us as there was no other place to go, but Melody did not seemed bothered and was busy collecting chocolates. While we all were running I called to Melody “Hey Melody run otherwise you will get drown.” She replied in a jaunty manner “Friends, it’s only chocolate and nothing big.” We tried to make her run but she refused and started walking coolly as of nothing had happened. Soon the chocolate reached her feet and the chocolate flood’s level started increasing and before Melody knew what was happening she was drowning in the chocolate flood.

                                

 

Oh no! We had to save her. “Melody, why don’t you fly back?” I asked her. “I cannot, my wings are dripping with chocolate” she answered still struggling to get out of the flood. Masky and I began to think what to do. Our thoughts were interrupted by the shouts of the crowd. We both began to think of an idea, I suddenly spotted a giant tree and a rope in the corner, but it was a very big risk to reach the rope. I told Masky about my idea in hope that he would find a way to get the rope. He said “You have a good idea, I am ready to take the risk and Melody is my best friend from many years. I have to help her but I have to act fast before that part is also submerged in chocolate. So he jumped on a rock and caught the rope, but he slipped along with the rope. Luckily he caught hold of the rock firmly and got back safely. We hurried and climbed the tree. Soon we were high enough to help Melody. So according to the plan, we tied one end of the rope to a strong branch and sent another side to Melody who managed to hold it. With great difficulty we pulled her up and she apologized for putting all of us in danger just because of her foolishness. We forgave her but Masky was a hero in front of every eye who was watching us. While Melody was beautiful but she was arrogant also, now not I think. We hurried out of the chocolate world and sat on our chairs. The vibration began and we were sliding again. The chairs came at a halt and there was yet another wonderful place in front of us.

                             

                                            Jurassic World

                              

 

“This is The Jurassic world” cried Melody bursting with excitement. “We are going to have a lot of fun here” said Masky happily. We entered the Jurassic World and we were given a gyrosphere which could be controlled from inside through various buttons.

                      

 

We all sat in the gyrosphere and Melody started the gyrosphere and we entered a huge jungle with trees taller than skyscrapers. I suddenly spotted a dinosaur and screamed. Melody and Masky also saw the dinosaur but only laughed at my scared face and Masky said “It is an Herbivorous silly.” “Oh! It scared me out of my skin” I said. We continued our journey and we entered a zone in which we saw 2 T-rexes fighting. The fight looked scary to me; good long fight left one T-Rex wounded. The other T-Rex turned and saw us and started following us. My, what a fright, Melody hurriedly started the gyrosphere with the T-Rex still following us. Sometimes it came so near that we would be saved in time from getting crushed under the feet of the T-Rex. Melody spotted a large bush near the exit gate and we hid in it, still in the gyrosphere. The T-Rex did not bother to look for us further otherwise we would have surely been hunted by him. We hurried to the exit gate and wasted no time in getting out of the Jurassic World. We did not stop anywhere despite of the enchanting things that you would have wondered, that what were they doing in the jungle but we had not time to question or think as we ran for our chairs. When we reached our chairs, the vibration began and we were sliding, we all heaved a sigh of relief. Even Masky who was always grinning had no grin but an expression of relief. He offered me and Melody a chocolate each and we both accepted the offer happily. One bite of the chocolate made me feel better then Masky said “I think before continuing our journey we need a short break, so let’s go into the central park and have a good picnic there.”

  So we all went to the central park and Melody bought a good amount of eatables from a nearby shop. Each of us had a good full of berries, ice-creams, jellies and many more wonderful items. Melody had also bought a big cake and I was about to cut the cake when suddenly the ground started shaking. We turned and saw the same T-Rex who had been after us in the previous land which was the Jurassic World. “Where did he come from?” asked Melody. “Well he must have followed us till here” answered Masky. An ugly dwarf came to us and shouted “Because of you all, everybody here is in trouble”. “Hey, we didn’t know that he will come here from the Jurassic World, Mr. Rudy” I shouted back angrily. My! He was the rudest and the ugliest dwarf I had ever met or seen. “Hey don’t call me by names” he answered angrily. “I will”  

I answered back. “Hey calm down both of you, I know how to take the dinosaur back. We have to take him back to the Jurassic World and put him back in his prison” said Masky. “So who will come with me?” I asked. Masky, Melody and the ugly dwarf agreed. “What is your name?” Melody asked the ugly dwarf. “My name is Wantizam” he said shortly. “Ok let’s go now” said Masky. We all sat on our chairs and Melody pressed a button on her chair and said “As Wantizam is also going with us, we must have an extra chair for him. So I have ordered and it will be here in a few minutes.” The T-Rex saw us and started running towards us. I pointed it out to Masky, Melody also saw it and hurriedly pressed the button again and again in a hope that our order would arrive soon. The T-Rex was coming nearer and by luck the extra chair came and we all hurriedly sat on our chairs and they started vibrating and soon we were sliding. The T-Rex also increased his speed and was coming nearer and nearer. In between he was so near to my chair that I fell down from my chair and would have disappeared if I had not caught hold of a branch which was stucking out of nowhere. I screamed for help. Melody heard my scream and stopped the chair in time. They started discussing how to save me. “We have to save her” said Masky. “But how are we going to do it? It is very risky to go there” said Melody. “Someone has to do it” said Masky. “Well I am ready to take the risk” said Wantizam. Both Melody and Masky looked at him in shock and disbelief. Before anybody could reply he took a part of a creeper which was hanging by ands, tied one end to his chair and the other end to his waist. Then he jumped down and gave me a hand. That’s when I realized that Wantizam had a bigger and kinder heart than I had thought. He had taken a big risk for me which neither Melody nor Masky did. He might be ugly but his heart was bigger than the universe. He helped me to get back to my chair and I gave him a hug. Surprised by my sudden hug he surprisingly grinned. Before anybody could say anything we heard the dinosaur’s voice not far behind. Oh my god! We had completely forgotten about the dinosaur. We all quickly sat on our chairs and were once again sliding back to the Jurassic World. After almost getting caught by the dinosaur a number of times, we finally reached the Jurassic World. We went in and studied the Main map of Jurassic World; we got to know that the control center is in the middle of the Jurassic World. We took two gyrospheres and made pairs. Masky and Melody went in one gyrosphere and Wantizam went with me in another gyrosphere. We borrowed a map of the Jurassic World and entered in gate number 2 from which we could reach the control center faster. As we were near the control center we got stuck in pool of mud and our gyrosphere got damaged. So we all started walking towards the control centre. While we were on our way to the control center the T-Rex caught up with us and we hurried in the other direction. The T-Rex followed us and we reached in a compartment of flying dinosaurs and the T-Rex came there and broke one of the cages of the flying dinosaurs. The flying dinosaurs came out and scattered everywhere. We hid in the bushes and tried to reach the control centre without getting caught by the flying dinosaurs or the T-Rex. We hurried to the control center and managed to dodge out of the T-rexes’ way for some time, but as we were entering the control center, and as I was a little behind of my friends the T-Rex caught hold of me and was about to eat me when I was rescued by my friends. They had managed to reach the manager just in time and had informed him about me, so he had sent an electric arm and saved me from the dinosaur. Then they threw a large amount of meat in the T-Rexes’ prison and the T-Rex smelled it and went in his cage for a full. That’s when the manager pressed a button and the gate closed before the huge dinosaur could react. He then with his few mates threw nets on the fling dinosaurs who tried not to get out but the team was too skilled for them and in an hour all the dinosaurs were caught and put into cages and everything was back to normal. Then the manager invited us to tea which we all happily accepted as we were hungry after a long dinosaur chase. We were just about to eat when a light blinded me and when I opened my eyes I founded myself back in my bedroom, safe and sound. I heard my parent’s voice downstairs and that’s when I realized that it was a dream, but it was a wonderful, scary and exciting dream. I hope to see a similar dream and meet all my friends again.
