A Glimpse Of Serendipity!

I never believed in serendipity until I listened to the story of my Mamu from my mother.

He wanted to be a doctor in his life. But his family wasn't that much rich. So the only option was hard work or doing something else. He worked hard, without any coaching and did give the exam.

He got good marks and came into the merit list. But the competition was tough so he didn't get the seat in MBBS. Moreover, they wanted the money that his family couldn't give. He was sad. He was then offered a seat in BAMS. He joined it on the insisting of his parents. But he wasn't happy at all.

But life wanted him to be at some other place. He got a call letter from the government Dental College. But it was delivered to his previous home which was left by them. Now they shifted to another place. Two days the letter was lying there. Suddenly his neighbour saw the letter and on reading got to know that the last day was tomorrow. On that day he had his mother's cremation.

After that, he ran on his bicycle to their home.

My grandmother was at Gurudwara and praying for her child. And she turned and saw her son holding the call letter. She was very happy.

So somethings that happen in our lives, is ultimately taking us to a better life!

I now believe in it.
