A Day In My Life Without A Mirror… My Reflections

I decided to ignore the long mirror in front for a day

After all life does not change all over just in a matter of a day  

My dependency increased even as I was seeking and receiving feedback

I accepted many, agreed to some and even absorbed a few; to reflect as I sit back  

I learnt the way, how to trust …. Without rushing to verify

For there was no mirror to fall back and clarify

But what made my day was not

just those feedback called for

Rather those ‘feed forward’ that came forth; though uncalled for

Next day morning:

As I stood in front of the mirror, I paused a while to inquire  

“Can you too give me some ‘feed forward’ I need and require?”

The mirror was silent and continued for long that way …

Even as I moved on, I heard the mutter ‘Feed forward’ No way!
