Zindagi

We all are born as humans,

Still we aren't the same,

Different people, different dreams,

Some aspire for money, some for fame.

Always thinking about us,

We almost forget about those

Whose dream is just different from ours.

We never care about them,

Maybe some of them are gems.

They are always sun-kissed,

Living in a house of three bricks.

Running for one meal,

Nobody can ever know how they feel.

No school, no classroom, no lessons,

Still they are ahead of us in understanding life's lessons.

They work hard for a living,

Still they are starving,

They are happy with what they have,

They never stop trying,

And every day, due to this one of them is dying.

No matter what it is,

They are always smiling and teaching that,

' Life is a battle,

Enjoy it with a bit of cackle.'
