Wings of Hope
Wings of Hope
The fear of letting me fly
Noises of an absurd cry
The two wheels of life
Took me out of struggle and strife.
I discovered angels’ wings to fly high.
A right to dream and relief’s sigh.
My schoolbooks have been trashed
My soul weeping inside.
Turning an expert tender age homemaker
If not for the bicycle, my rescuer.
Along with my desires and dreams
I’d have sunk in the darkest of the times.
As my destiny’s wings will soar.
Getting chance one more
Opening the opportunity’s new world-
My life rolling forward,
Flight of my bicycle
Will take me far, it’s magical.
The pain of blistered feet and tired body
Turning dim now in memory
Light of future is bright
Sky is the only limit.
Won’t be easy, walk of a tightrope,
Still, dreamy are my eyes, full of hope.
