"Whispers of the Untrue”
"Whispers of the Untrue”
They whispered shadows, cold and sly,
Beneath a calm yet clouded sky.
Words like arrows, sharp and deep,
Stirred the peace I tried to keep.
A tale was spun, a cruel disguise,
Built from envy, wrapped in lies.
My truth was chained, my name defamed,
Yet still, my spirit stood untamed.
They sought to tarnish what I’ve made,
Through slander’s storm, I was betrayed.
But integrity became my shield,
And resilience refused to yield.
Time shall vindicate the scarred and true,
Expose the false, the wicked few.
For truth may falter, bend, or fade,
But never dies—it’s never swayed.
So let them talk, their words decay,
My conscience lights the brighter way.
Falsehoods fall, like dust and rain,
Yet honor blooms from deepest pain.
