Wail Of A Female Foetus

I was in my mother's womb

Like a pretty Pearl in the sea shell

I was feeling secured and safe

Under my mom's loving protective veil

My grandma managed to know that I was a female child

It made her so cruel and a murderers blind

She asked my mother to get the abortion

As she needed not a daughter but a son.

I was killed before taking birth

I vanished before seeing the light on earth

A female was killed by a female doctor

It was a woman killing a woman

It was a shame, it was a curse!!
