Voice That Saved Me

My mind is numb 

My thoughts are passive aggressive 

perfection is what I want 

In the process I'm hurting myself 

My muscle memory is moving itself 

I had no idea what I'm doing 

My addiction and habits are taking over me 

All I needed is someone to notice me 

It's too late to turn back 

Then I heard a voice 

"I'm watching over you from the beginning of you" 

I'm amazed and awestruck 

I heard God look after people but I never thought he look after a person like me.
