The fundamental unit of life, 

Observed by Hooke first time

He Examined under a microscope;

And that was only the hope. 

The tiny building - blocks of life, 

The theory got down for a lifetime. 

Plasma membrane as a guard, 

Nucleus - the king of the cell. 

Golgi as a post office, 

Cytoplasm - the carrier. 

E. R s as a production house, 

Ribosome - kitchen of a cell. 

Cell wall as the protector, 

Lysosome- suicidal bag of cells. 

Mitochondria as the powerhouse, 

Discoveries continued for years and years, 

And led to the evolution of the cell.
