Two Gardens (Rich and Redefined|Poor and Pure)🎍🌳
Two Gardens (Rich and Redefined|Poor and Pure)🎍🌳
There is a garden(Rich and Redefined)🌹,
kept polished like a palace floor.
The gardener trimmed every leaf,
forced every flower into line,
a fashion show of frost and formation.
The garden wore a mask 🎭,
grim and silent.
No bees, no worms, no birds remained;
pesticides had swept them away.
Barbed wires coiled the borders ⚔️,
a sign read: “Entry only with ticket.”
It costs in dollars, in rupees,
and yes—Google Pay was accepted. 💳
Another gardener worked with whispers 🌿,
permaculture in his palms.
He whistled with the wind 🎶,
welcomed weeds like wandering guests,
let vines stretch like curious children.
Here worms tilled the soil 🪱,
snakes slid softly beneath roots 🐍,
butterflies painted the air 🦋,
birds built nests in chorus 🐦,
and foxes, frogs, and flowers
found fellowship 🦊🐸🌼.
It was messy, musical, alive—
a *Pure and Poor garden*,
a home of heaven.
One gardener builds an exhibit,
the other tends to embrace.
_One masks life,
the other magnifies it
One sells a ticket,
the other gives a gift.
*_
And though both call themselves *gardeners* ,
only one walks home
with petals in his pocket 🌸
and heaven in his hands. ✨
So tell me, dear reader—
which garden would you prefer, and why? 🤔
Have you got your ticket ready,
your entry fee clenched in your hand? 🎟️💰
For the showroom, the cost is heavy—
but for the other…
you won’t find it for sale.
That is Tau. 🌱
And you know who the gardener is..or do you?..🤔
(Tribute to Vishwan Chettan and all others who keep coming to Tau Kavu to tend and nurture the Garden...the true and anonymous altruists)
