Truth Of Life "Death"

Truth Of Life "Death"

When I came to school

In the hustle -bustle I found a girl,

Whose nature reflected in her face

 As it was a glass

I went to her desk

And asked for some space

So that I could sit,

As she heard, a beautiful smile came on her face

"New to the school?" she asked,

"And also new to the class!”

“Want a seat?" was her question,

I said "Yes" in possession.

"OK" she said politely,

My heart lit brightly.

She was the girl I met first in the class

She was one who didn't have any flowers

She was a diamond solitaire in a golden ring

She was a butterfly with silvery wings

"What's your name?" I asked out of curiosity

"APRAJITA” she said with simplicity.

"What's yours?" she asked

In this way we talked like two hares in the same burrow

As time passed we started sharing our joys

We also shared our sorrows

And the year went

And there came 2011

We enjoyed our company, we enjoyed our months

But, then came the September

 The most hysterical month

All the students' were giving examinations

When her father entered the classroom with tension

"Her kidney has failed, she is undergoing dialysis" he said

I thought for a moment, are the words right that I heard

"She is hospitalized for the month" was his next

A stab in my heart that was what I felt.

He needed a facility So we decided to give help to him

To bring her back was our promise

I also helped to bring my friend back

BUT when I heard in news it cracked

Firstly I declined

Then I realized

That APRAJITA will never come back

I stood in a shock

Of what I heard wasn't truth

God had back-stabbed me

HE took away the HAPPINESS which I gained

My mother said "She was an angel in disguise"

It was the reality that was captured in a cage of gold

I wish she could be mine

I wish we could have shined together

 Together a new life

But Alas! All these desires are just

Like priceless glass

Filled with poison

Mixed with wine
