Time

There was a time, 

When all the stars that shine in the sky, 

Visible to the human eye, 

Weren't as bright as the 

Sparkling kind that lit the lights in her pretty eyes. 

There was a time, 

When the things she would do to me 

Would send me shooting out into the galaxy, 

Beyond the limits of space, time, reality... 

I found her so wonderfully unbelievably astounding... 

There was a time, 

Not so long ago, 

I loved someone more than mere words could show, 

And wanted the whole world to know... 

Then came the time she let me go, 

A time of pain and great sorrow, 

And time seemed like it moved so slow 

As if caught in the gravity of the darkest hole. 

Eventually, with time my heart did heal, 

Having plenty of time to feel, 

Inside my mind the time I did kill, 

The clock spun so fast it didn’t seem real.

Time and time and time again, another lover, another friend, 

Then time finally came to an end, 

Before time rewinded and started again...
