Thorns And Roses

When people put me down 

And told me I can't 

I believe them than believing in me! 

I hid my light so no one would tell me 

It doesn't shine! 

I told myself to assume I'm doing fine 

But then I saw you, a beautiful rose,

Blooming between a thousand thorns! 

For once I started to believe in me

Especially for being me. 

Life is always tough but that's 

The meaning of life! 

Your never to late to get ahead 

Just keep going and never doubt yourself. 

Cause If a rose can bloom between thorns 

A ray of hope can make you feel just well.
