Things That Fall

On the autumn twilight,

when the wind howls,

when the flowers fight,

the pretty petal falls.

After breaking of trust,

when the mind recalls,

when relations catch rust,

the teardrop falls.

After the sky go dark,

when the dusk calls,

when the pooches bark,

the sun then falls.

Now the firmament’s white,

when the crushed ice balls,

when the dawn’s bright,

the snowflake falls.

Realized when feelings grew,

when rest all is fake,

when only my devotion is true,

for you, it’s me, who falls.
