The cock crows at dawn

Disturbing my thoughts

I had lain awake all night long

Then, I heard the chirping of the crickets

That won't sleep for it's their time to eat

The frightening bird calls which were gradually drowned

By the whirling monsoon winds

They rapped at the panes

Threatening to dismantle it's reins

They seemed to whisper mystic words

All I could hear was fear and gore

Interrupted by flashes from the god Thor

And so I lay awake till first light

For I was unable to close my eyes

All night long I racked my brain

About whom the unknown visitor could have been .
