We all have our fears,
They are what keep us running from ourselves,
Caged up in a hollow of echoes,
We can only hear our own words,
An array of demoralizing thoughts,
There is a constant blaring sound,
And we are deafened in never-ending rounds.
We all have our fears,
They are what make us melt in tears,
Helplessness sizzles through our bodies like waves,
A gentle caress.
The very fount of hesitancy,
We despair in their wake,
But they are never gone and faded,
They continue to lie in wait.
