The Unfilled Piggy-Bank
The Unfilled Piggy-Bank
Kids save their hard earned money in a piggy bank
Every time they drop their coin in , they experience a sense of pride
The sensation when you drop that coin in is indescribable
It feels so calming to know you earned some money
They save their money and wait for the time when they have to spend
They feel connected and don't want use it knowing that it took so long to earn
When the time comes they end up spending but regret immediately
They feel dejected once they see their bank only halfway full
They might try to help others but feel sorrowful afterwards
They decide to save without spending a dime
However , when one appreciates for what they gave they don't feel sad at all instead their face floods with happiness
They enjoy helping when they others appreciate
When they say thank you , kids open up and feel free to share
They like being thanked that pushes them to do more
They now have a drive and a push that makes that work even harder
It is like a wall that helps stand up
But this wall helps them move forward and give
They once again want to spend but this time without the sense of regret and sorrow
Knowing they're hard earned money is helping people
That's when they know they've done good
