When I was small I used to look up at the sky

And see the clouds so very high

They look like fluffy marshmallows I could eat

I wish, I wish if only I could reach

The beautiful sunset in so many colours

Which I could watch for hours and hours 

It makes me feel so happy and free

It gives me light and now I'm not weak

The evening sun is beautiful too

With all the colours red, purple and blue

At this time I lay on the beach

Playing with sand while wetting my feet 

When the moon comes up at days end 

It's time for me to lay my head

Looking at the stars from my window sill 

And thinking about tomorrow and what the day will bring
