The Organs Song
The Organs Song
Liver stores glycogen and produces bile,
It does work in its own nice style;
Heart pumps blood,
sometimes in a gushing flood;
Stomach crushes the food fine,
and then gives it to the small intestine;
Brain thinks and learns,
Its lobes have twist and turns;
Kidney excretes liquid waste,
And tongue helps us taste;
Lungs inflate when we inhale,
Diaphragm contracts when we exhale;
Teeth chew the food,
They are doing this all for our good;
This all forms an organ system,
That helps us nicely function.
