The Newly Discovered Joy
The Newly Discovered Joy
As I was at the end of the Twilight,
The Sun dozed off to sleep and the Moon glowed up;
The stars sighed and the darkness was surprised.
And suddenly the shooting star
Struck my soul,
Coming from the Infinite distance it stirred my soul.
It went away like a memory so alive;
Like a child in its sleep, like the nation in the martyr's dream;
It crossed all boundaries that came, broke all hurdles that stood.
Now the clouds wept as I embraced the winds,
The leaves sang and the branches swayed.
The newly discovered joy glowed all around;
It held my hand and pulled me to surround.
