The ladder of life
The ladder of life
When I was a child
I used to cry for toys
When I was a teen
I always longed to be seen
When I grew to be an adult
I always wanted a result
When I became old
I wanted someone's hand to hold
The life's ladder has come to an end
And I have nothing left to spend
But I have something to share
And that is like a diamond and that too rare
Life is all about living from the heart
It is not be treated like a chart
You lose everything in the end
With only memories to be penned
Have no regrets o' dear souls
Only then you will have happiness filled bowls
