The Jungle Road
The Jungle Road
Once I walked to the jungle road,
The road was clean, the grass was green
And there is no trace of human touch,
It was like I'd never seen it.
The mango trees have bent their way
To give some room for birdie bae,
The sun-kissed leaves, the windy day
It all seems like nature's play
I walked too deep and down
I want to know where this road ends
Little raindrops fell down
Into the road at that moment.
The smell was so like heaven fell
Into my lap and I realised
I know this smell, I felt it so
I was part of the jungle road.
I came from it, you came from it
It is our womb of mother earth
I am soil, you are soil
This is what we are made up of.
It is high time we realise,
Before this jungle road disappears
We all are made up of soil
We all came from this jungle road.
