Sister and brother is a beautiful pair,

Between them, a bond of love is there.

Their affection goes back to ages,

This friendliness cannot be expressed in pages.

Rakhi, on her brother's wrist, is tied by the sister,

While he promises, with all his might, to try and protect her.

Gifts are distributed to big and small,

Happiness is shared by all.

The Brother says, that he will take care,

I being there, you have nothing to fear,

In times of trials and tribulations.

Sister reciprocates by showering affection,
