Why did you come if you had to leave?

Why did you at all make me believe?

That you will be there come what may...

That you are here forever to stay!

 

You gave rise to hopes which never meant to be

Then why at all raised the bar in me?

Why at all did you enter my life?

When all you did was to leave me in strife...

 

I was a soul happy and carefree,

Who knew nothing about an emotional agony?

You stepped in and destroyed my inner bliss.

What harm did I do to you to deserve this?

 

I gave you my love and all that could be.

But you sucked out my spirit from me.

You scarred my soul beyond repair,

Is this how you repay tender love and care?

 

I changed my existence for your content.

For you I lost my identity to that extent.

But you always seemed to notice the flaws in me.

Wasn't there even a little goodness for you to see?

 

You killed that person that was there before,

The pain of which aggravates more and more.

All hopes are lost and so is the zeal!

Every passing day now gives me a terrible feel!

 

I wish I could end this, I wish I could go back;

It's scary in here, this dark and gloomy black!

What happiness did you get with this tormenting way?

Why did you enter when you had no plans to stay??????????
