The Cruise I Dream Of
The Cruise I Dream Of
The crew is up and the sails I’ve set,
The kin, the sib and the pal I’ve met.
We shall leave the shore no late,
For there’s nothing to stay and nothing to wait.
I know there would be storms amidst,
The masts are sturdy to deal with the risks.
Even the sails are strong and stiff,
So no more but and no more if.
Well, it might even go astray,
Or it might take up a longer way.
Then I shall find some different lands
And all the fruits of different sands.
And if the anchor drops on the shore,
The one I dream, the one I adore.
To my heart I would beg for sure,
I’ve lived my life, you beat no more.
I’ve lived my life, you beat no more.
