I look at the calendar; Forty-ninth day

Of lockdown, so how did I spend my day?

Did I let it go to waste or did I find a way,

Yes did find a way, wrote my stories poems

To submit it to storymirror, a platform that,

Gave me a chance to show case my writing

It kept me busy, not allowing me to idle.

Different subjects every day testing my skill

ln writing competitions, in all ways.

Keeping me busy, keeping me occupied.

Through these difficult days of lockdown.

With your support, as a writer, I have grown.

But For the chance you give writers' like me

Our writing would have remained unknown.

It's a matter of pride when I see my name.

Coming live every time I Write.
