Sweet Whisperings

My eyes spotted them,

Or were they trying to reach out to me?

Perhaps they did try harder to garner my attention,

I just had to halt in my tracks!

They were trying to communicate,

They wanted to strike a conversation perhaps,

Or perhaps they wanted to share with me their glorious moments??

I all at once felt important,

Someone had found in me their confidante,

Someone felt that I would indeed rejoice in their well-being,

Someone who actually felt!....

My eyes followed their direction,

Their humility bent them a little for me to feel one with them,

Their goodness showed as they gracefully bent enough as if giving a bow.

I acknowledged their gesture and stood facing them.

I was, at that moment, their greatest admirer.

Pronto, the friendship was sealed,

A bit of each of us revealed,

We basked in mutual admiration.

Say Hi! to nature.

They are listening!!!
