Spirit of moon

Spirit of moon

Oh sweet moon.

Today I hide away as you.

You’re waning and I am waiting

I’m slowly going deep into the ground.

As you soon will be so full and round

I lay asleep in connection within

my stories of realities are calm and thin

I am a lunar creature

You are my teacher

I glow so bright with stemming joy

Your phases i want to employ

I’m reigniting and reinventing

My human body I am renting

My soul is full and my wild spirit animal howling

I’ve received your invitation

Brewing crazy energy, this sensation

The grass falls all in alignment laying down to sleep and awakens to shift sides

The clouds so grey and full of wisdom humbly divides

The cars so distant not noisy deep beneath the hillsides

My heart is banging like a tribal drum

You’re beckoning me beckoning me to come

The wind masquerading in and through the trees

This beautiful moment I chose to seize

The bugs glowing and singing to me

Flying and jumping and lying, flowing so free

The light bursts through and the night becomes day

As you make the sky your eternal prey

Celebrations of oceans and powerful crashing and splashing

As if child’s play

Welcome we say.

The fullness you slay

Standing tall and strong

Fearless and singing your banquet song

Welcome my darling

Your whites so sterling

Proud and gently humble

Stirring within me my internal jungle

Relieving me of this weary struggle

Please stay. Please don’t go.

For I bask and come alive in your glow

Raindrops start to fall from my eyes

As the sky becomes a dark disguise

Goodbye moon goodbye

I now bow my head to cry

A memorial sets in my altar lays still

For we have both died servants of the will
