SOUR GRAPES

There's a story about a fox roaming in a vineyard, saw some grapes, 

Felt hungry, wanted to grab but failed after many trials as they're high!

He couldn't get them, gave up his efforts and made up a prompt reply 

Found an excuse of his failure, said 'grapes are sour' and went away.

 

Whenever you wish through life to seek wealth and power you try hard

When failed, invent a readymade excuse like the fox uttered, you say it.

You're sure 'the grapes are sour' and go away to find food somewhere

Thinking of fruits to reach them easy as if you can get it nearby jungles?

 

You're born poor, learned a few lessons and struggled a lot to succeed, 

Couldn't achieve what you wanted, lived a life with your failed thoughts!

Society is changing day by day, a bright future for kids, your loved ones

You could not achieve what you wanted, but your wishes are still alive!

 

Educate clever kids and guide them for a better life for a new world

You could not climb mountains before, support them for their efforts

Generation after generation progress, prosperity, quality of life's better, 

Give them both hands to push them up, shine a light and show the way?

 

You give them hopes they will make your dreams come true and prosper 

We feel happy and proud of achievements and successes we all made!

Be happy as the efforts make a new community, nation and a new world. 

Humanity is getting better with great people like you, try to be generous! 

 

We can join and make it happen soon; if you have a will, there is a way. 

Let them enjoy the fruits of our upheaval tasks to succeed and celebrate 

We can start saying the grapes are always 'sweet' nearby or far away!
