Solitude Cravings

I do love to chat,

with my friends, 

when sleep takes over, 

my mom and dad!

I do love to freak,

bunk the classes, 

topple the glasses,

slip over them and shriek.

The thrill to bunk the classes,

Mimic the teachers,

whisper careless notes, 

to dearies in the masses.

Travelling far and wide,

Exploring the wild,

Is an attraction, 

not at all mild!

But what I enjoy most,

Is my company Alone,

Finding my time, 

meandering through the books,

that I most adore.

Enjoying them on a cot,

Under the winter sun,

Or relishing every note of my 

Favourite muse, 

Until my very ears do rot!

Or just rolling over the bed, 

In casual Indolence,

Oh! How I wish to experience, 

Once again, those silly nuances!

Today I realize why my friends, 

envied me then...

When I had nothing, 

But the Me time in my den.

Trapped in the mesh of

Time, duties and anxieties, 

My heart once again, 

Yearns for those timeless liberties.

Just like Godot,

Waiting for solitude,

Is here the Desperado Me,

Determined to break the shackles of 

Time Free.
