Gratitude I Often Walk Through

I often walk through the portals 

Of my life: my school 

On a rain wet day

Freshening up my memories 

And fondling my life's cherries

School was my temple 

My pilgrimage then and even still

It taught me some of the

Toughest lessons through practical drill

It was the site of my first heart break

It also tasted me my first success and cake of fame!

Its teachers instilled in me the confidence and belief

With which I still proudly tread the life's path with relief!!

And not to forget those carefree whis6

And secret talks, among the peers

Which made everyone stalk!

For all this and more

I thank my Almamater

And its teachers Galore.
