Solace
Solace
I seek solace in those shackles that binds,
In a place once I called home,
I seek solace in those words that reminds,
I am not who I am or who I used to be,
Astray, I left those broken vows,
And midnight stories,
Away, locked in a gilded cage,
Afar from prying eyes to haze,
I seek solace in those people,
Who helped me forget myself,
I seek solace in those hands,
Who raised me, just to abandon myself.
Now, what I seek for?
Or who I seek for?
Or why I seek for?
I don't know,
Lost in wild wilderness,
Seeking solace,
I stargaze alone,
Baffled by thoughts,
I search for myself,
In those blank pages,
And in meaningless verses,
To rebuild of what's broken,
And to cherish of what's still left,
I seek solace.
