She Is Different

She sometimes cachinnates, but sometimes cries alone.

They love her when she laughs, but leave her when she moans.

 

She might look happy today, she might have a sorrowful tomorrow.

She might look carefree, free from shackles, she has to return, she borrowed.

 

She might appear calm to you, but has a fire within.

& when you try to challenge her, she lashes out like the flame of kiln.

 

She's neither mad nor insane; she’s the power we took in vain.

She's a honcho, she’s the lead, in a beautiful diadem, she’s a bead

She asked herself, “What is the essence

Of her life, why she took birth?"

I said to her with due deference,

You are the food in dearth.

A cause for which you were born,

To blossom like flowers in thorns.

You are the sun, you are the guide, you were born to be nation’s pride.

You are optimism, you are the light, you are the candle burning bright.

She stood & walked straight,

With an assertive gait,

No more was she afraid.

She fetched the name,

Power -pelf and fame,

We follow now the milestone she laid.
