Scribble Day

It was 18th April,

Being the last teaching day, 

I was waiting for this day from so long,

Watching my seniors rejoice meant they were on song,

With a flash, all memories have come back,

From Curiosity to Connections,

Life at University was full temptations,

They say you will miss your college days,

Here we are remembering the same,

Like every student I too had so many emotions flowing,

There is enlightenment but sorrow too,

With teary eyes ready to blast,

We had a fantastic time at last,

It was an utter joy calling up your friend on way to college,

Sprinting hard yet asking him to mark the attendance, 

From proxies to the teacher being absent,

Glad that we experienced complete madness,

75 % attendance was a top priority,

For some, it was less but for many, it was a sigh of relief, 

Scribble Day is what we were waiting for,

With lots of wishes, we had everyone for,

From clicking photos with your favourite teacher,

To getting final wishes on t-shirts and Slambooks,

Staying in touch was what we would say,

Time spent at CC, Uni-Mall would always be special in its own way,

From Kitchen Ette to Momo's Villa,

We loved eating together,

Munching as if we didn't have food forever,

Bunking our lectures and going for a movie,

With CA's hovering around it was all Tomato puree,

Endterms gone with that fun come along,

Dressing up for farewell are the plans that are all gone,

We can just sit back and imagine,

How enlightened our scribble day would have been,

It's the moment where we feel,

What the new beginning has on its reel
