Religion as discerned in most humans irritates me,
Where blind faith and commandments ride,
Binding credibility by trivial norms and superfluous ego,
And all these converge at needless pride . .
Scattered are the remnants, nonetheless valiant,
Striving with a sword forged of hope,
While they venture into cliffs of diverse truths,
To make do with what seems oblivious,
Hanging on to the faith-built rope . .
