Reality

Reality

Happy! Yeah, I was happy...

Sound Asleep, concerned about absolute nothing-

Until reality hit me.

Bewildered by the change, I felt nothingness

On that day my soul got bound, I felt despair

In a kingdom full of realities

Deep into that darkness concreting

I awoke and flung the evidence

'Reality!' chuckled in the background.

Once I sat engaged and coined

My passion grew, to make a mark

Much I marveled the true necessity

Yet, I felt desolation, somewhat empty

I mustered the courage, but I already knew

Despair was the new reality

With my life-force slowly ticking away,

The sun set in the distant land,

Where hope is a delusion;

Where dreams are incessant!

Alas, reality is a death wish!

A prison of repeated nightmares-

Where freedom is an illusion,

Nay, non-existent, to be precise.
