In a bygone era, where elegance prevailed,

A lady fair, her heart unveiled.

With grace, she held a parrot so dear,

A bond unspoken, crystal clear.

Feeding the parrot, a daily routine,

Their connection is like a timeless scene.

With gentle hands, she offered his feast,

A moment of trust, a sacred release.

The parrot, perched upon her hand,

In awe of her, he did understand.

Her nurturing touch, his source of care,

In her presence, he found solace rare.

But what if fate's hand were to intervene,

And the lady's touch could no longer be seen?

What would become of the parrot's fate,

Confined in a cage, in a solitary state?

His thoughts take flight, a fluttering fear,

Who will provide, if she's no longer near?

The bond they shared, a lifeline for him,

Without her presence, his light grows dim.

Yearning for freedom, wings stretched wide,

Yet bound by walls, unable to glide.

He longs for her voice, her gentle command,

To taste the sweet freedom of sky and land.

In his cage, he ponders, emotions swell,

A captive spirit, in a solitary cell.

But deep within, his heart still sings,

A memory of love, with fragile wings.

For though the lady may one day depart,

Their connection lives on, deep in his heart.

In the whispers of the wind, her presence lingers,

Fueling his hope, with tender fingers.

So, let us remember the parrot's plight,

His longing for freedom, his eternal flight.

And cherish the bond between humans and birds,

A testament to love, in a world that's stirred.

In this era of beauty, where hearts align,

May compassion and understanding forever shine.

For the parrot's soul, forever intertwined,

With the lady's spirit, in memories enshrined.
