Such is scene today

People have found way

To go up with power

With the help of money and muscle power

 

Millions of rupees are spent

They promise heavenly sent earth

To remove poverty within period

And many job employments to add

 

No works is done without bribe

The grant or aid is siphoned, kept for tribes

Poor get only little slice

People have no other choice

 

Who is to be blamed?

When power is shared

They are from our breed

So they know what is our need?

 

The power corrupts absolutely

The brain is used masterly

Even today small salaried people have billion in asset

Politicians use bribe money and public is cheated

 

Some good people can do nothing

When entire corrupt people are forming

Strong base for capturing power

Such people are stroke players in politics
