Pink or Blue

Mobile phone rang a happy tune

My sister is blessed with a piece of moon

Obviously, I went for shopping

Joy of aunthood is almost shocking

I went into this gigantic store

To buy nibs, prams, frocks and more

I met a salesman and asked him for toys

His response was, for girls or for boys?

Does that matter for it is just born, I said

He asked me to have a look, instead

I went ahead to find two huge sections

It looked as different as east and west directions

From feeding bottles to bikes on sale

Every little thing was distinctly male or female

Pink, red, orange, all colorful

Girls no wonder look so wonderful

Blue, brown, black, all tough colors

Boys want to be stronger than others

Haven't we put this bias too early

Blue is boyish and pink is girly

The salesman however thinks otherwise

So I said, hand knit booties would be more wise
