Our Dear Madhava

The day has come to be celebrated,

The birth of our almighty godhead,

He, who is, as dark as thundering clouds,

He, who has the whole universe in his mouth,

Krishna is his name,

The eighth avatars of Vishnu 

Who took birth for Rakshasas to put them to their end,

The one who was born in jail,

Mathura is the name of his birthplace,

The preserver of our Shristi 

With his sweet personality just like Indian mishti,

Grew up in Vrindavan with his lover and divine consort Radha 

To teach us everything there is to life 

And clear up misconceptions made by our society about Adharma and Badha.
