Divided we fall. United we prevail. There is no them, and there is no us, there is a union of bodies that coexist on a land that was meant to be shared with everything around. The color of my skin doesn't change the fact that when cut I still bleed red, like you. The anatomy I was given doesn't dictate if I'm entitled to have another dictate the way I should be living. There is fragility in us all that makes us back against the wall when the opposition is trying to kick down our doors, the only issue is we don't all react in a common matter, but in the end, it is clear. We fear what we can't understand. Ostracize what we can't cognize. We struggle at times to break generational chains, but in the end, it lays with one. One person who is willing to. One person who wants to try. One person to reach out a hand and kind smile and build upon a new way. I am that one, can you hold my hand and try and understand that perhaps we are all one and the same, with differences to make us unique?
