Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time, 

there lived humanity, 

was living happily, 

in the "peace" named city

"Happily ever after", 

wasn't just a thought, 

everyone was joyous, 

used to care a lot. 

But like every other story, 

this too, had a villain, 

to destroy all the "peace"

his only work, determined to be done. 

Hate, abuse, selfishness, 

was his only aim, 

he went destroying the ones, 

in his path, whoever came. 

Who knew he hated the ones, 

those were innocents

who knew he favoured the ones, 

who were born ignorant? 

Who knew he hated the girls, 

wandering at nights, 

who knew he hated those pearls, 

who didn't amuse his sight? 

Who knew he had a problem, 

with length of her skirt, 

who knew he didn't like her work, 

and the size of her shirt? 

He was the one, 

with the forever blind eyes, 

taught everyone, 

"Judgement" named lies. 

He was the one, 

With the forever deaf ears, 

He taught us the words, 

"Don't bother", "Who cares?"

Shame! We blamed him, 

on the name of the society, 

little did we know, 

we had lost our sanity. 

How we all blamed him, 

for bringing the shame and disgust, 

oh, but did we know, 

He was none other than us?
