Never Show Your Concern

 

I am not you

And that is true

But love me for one thing

I am simple and ordinary human being.

 

I have not tried

And lied

On many occasions

With concealed reasons.

 

I was not afraid

But often it is said

“Never show your concern”

“It shall adversely turn”.

 

I came to you often

To reveal it even

But my lips were unprepared

My tongue was tied and dead.

 

So I behaved

And dared not

To speak in earnest

To keep silence was my best and dearest.
