Navratri

Today is Navratri which means 9 nights,

A crowd playing Garba and Dandiya is a beautiful sight.

The first day of Navratri to goddess Shail- putri we pray.

The first day's first colour is Grey.

Today is the starting of Navratri we pray to goddess Durga to be free,

To buy the nine colour dresses we wanted to go on a shopping spree.

Because of this Corona Pandemic playing Dandiya with friends we miss,

Playing Garba in a crowd for now, goodbye we kiss. 

In our India women play different roles,

In every woman, there is goddess Durga With a Kind Heart, Gentle Spirit and a Brave Soul.
