My Story Of Blessing

Of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother

The world turning rounder, wider and weirder.

Realized the good news when I was 6 weeks pregnant

Was shocked and happy, dint know how to react to this segment

Went to the doctor to confirm the news

A tiny little ball we saw on screen in 2 different views

1st trimester was tough, full of nausea and vomitings

Not in the mood to eat my favorite dishes was astonishing

My weight started decreasing which was a concern

Full-time dizziness, my brain was about to burn

Managing work, travel, and health together

Receiving instructions galore, too much information to gather

Was waiting eagerly for 1st trimester to pass

To announce the news to family and friends in class

The 2nd trimester started with lesser disturbing symptoms

Surrounded by medicines, ultrasounds, and gender prediction

Confused b/w kicks and contractions, 2nd trimester cleared in Jan, Feb, and march

I started gaining weight, the tummy looked like an arch

3rd trimester started with a bang

Insomnia, restless legs, and back pain rang

Trying to connect with the baby in the womb

Planning and decorating, building memories in the tomb

The longest and most tiresome months

Shorter days and longer nights sunked

Eyes full of sleep still awake the entire night

Changing positions cautiously, hoping I was lying right

Counting vitamins n minerals in every food item

Hoping Iron, calcium, folic acid, omega to heighten

Praying for a smooth delivery before I give life to embody

It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body!!!
