My Best Friend
My Best Friend
In my monotonous life,
Many stabbed me with a knife,
Sucking out the life,
Making me unable to fight.
Sometimes, sitting alone somewhere, I think,
How despicable people are to use me as their ink,
Writing fairy tales and fantasies,
Of futile people and their vanities,
Using me every chance they get,
I fear they never regret.
Oh, every time I thought I found a friend
That is when it all had to end
Making me ever so lonely
Over and over again.
So, I started finding a person,
Who won't let the situation further worsen,
Calling insanity by its name,
Will be the one who I can claim.
And then one day, I finally met You,
Till then how vulnerable I was, I had no clue
You met me like sunshine
Finally touching those wilted flowers,
You met me when my whole world
Was falling apart
And you held it tight
Like it was yours and not mine
You were there by my Side,
In happiness or sadness, in every stride.
You made me smile when I was crying
And you were there for me when even I wasn't there for myself.
You were like a blank book,
I could write in all what my mind could cook,
I shared with you everything,
You could even bear when I used to Sing.
You didn't judge me, you were different,
All those crazy stuffs we did in amusement,
Trust tethered us always,
Helped us overcome all dismays.
With you, I could truly be myself,
If I was the book, you were the shelf,
You understood me as I was,
Accepting all my flaws.
So dear, whoever you are,
Please never go little too far,
I am glad that you don't Pretend,
We'll be always Together, O FRIEND!
If it's in my hands,
I would never let you go,
Oh, I would never let you go!
Cause you're special.
Oh, you're a special friend!
