Men of Valour
Men of Valour
They defend our cities from criminals, so we can sleep in peace,
They walk our streets to keep us safe from antisocial elements,
In every city they are relentless,
As they chase these lowlife's to safe guard cities from dark shadows,
That infest our cities, our town, our lives in a
manner, the men in uniform work with a
dedication that makes us proud of them.
They are our brothers and sisters in uniform,
Who allow us the freedom to live our lives, without fear and in peace.
They ask for nothing, don't criticize us, if you don't praise us,
But acknowledge us, respect us, for we too are humans.
Men in uniform, defending our country in freezing cold temperatures,
In inhuman conditions, in terrains that defies
human comprehension, that defines our
borders. Through day and night, ever awake,
ever alert, never for a moment letting down their guard,
As we sleep in the warmth of our homes, they
spend sleepless nights in the call of duty,
For their country, their people, with their lives.
So spare a thought for them, they too have
families, whether they guard our cities or borders,
They too have worries, they too are humans, while we die for ourselves,
They die for us, guarding our cities or guarding our borders.
For other than our prayers, our wishes, our
blessing, we have nothing to offer them,
In return for what they offer us in terms of their sacrifice.
Wherever you are, the nation salutes you, for men in uniform are men of steel,
Men of character, men of valour.
